ETC Platform operates as a Private Members Association. For the purposes of data protection legislation (including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), the data controller for this website (etcapp.net) is the ETC Platform PMA.

2. What Data This Website Collects

2.1 Marketing Website (etcapp.net)

This marketing website does not set cookies, does not use analytics tracking, and does not collect personal data through passive means. You can browse the entire site without providing any personal information.

2.2 Waitlist Form

If you sign up to the waitlist, the form collects:

• Name — so we can address you properly
• Email address — to notify you of launch and send the invite
• Country (optional) — so we can prioritise regions and match local interest
• Interests and lifetime-deal interest (optional) — to plan features and tier allocation

This data is stored securely in our self-hosted Supabase database and is used solely to keep you informed about launch and to match you with your invite. We do not share it with anyone.

2.3 Lifetime Membership Order Form

If you choose to purchase a lifetime membership, the order form collects:

• Full name — to identify your account
• Email address — to communicate about your order and create your account

This data is stored in the same Supabase infrastructure and is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your membership order.

2.4 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Wise Business. When you click a payment link or make a bank transfer, you interact with Wise's systems, which are governed by Wise's privacy policy. ETC Platform does not process, store, or have access to your card details or banking credentials.

4. Third Parties

• Wise (TransferWise Ltd) — Payment processing. Wise is authorised by the FCA as an Electronic Money Institution.
• Supabase (self-hosted on Azure UK) — Database hosting for waitlist and order data. Data is stored in our own VM in a UK Azure region. No third-party Supabase.com cloud.
• Azure (Microsoft) — Infrastructure hosting (virtual machines and static web apps).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

5. Data Retention

• Waitlist entries: retained until launch, then either migrated to a member account (with your consent) or deleted within 90 days of launch.
• Completed orders: retained for the lifetime of your membership for account management purposes.
• Pending orders that are never completed: automatically removed after 90 days.
• Email communications: retained for the duration of your membership.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
