Get your children off corporate platforms that harvest their data, build advertising profiles on them, and treat their childhood as inventory. A place to connect. A space to grow. A home you can trust. A future worth building — that is what your family deserves. ETC is a Private Members Association — a community where your whole family belongs, under your care and no one else's.
The platforms your family currently uses are not neutral tools. They are advertising businesses that need your children's attention, data, and behaviour to function.
One membership. Your whole household. Every stage of your offspring's lives accommodated.
A man or woman who knows you and is already on ETC invites you in. You join as a known man or woman — not an anonymous account. This is what makes the community safe enough to bring your offspring into.
Any offspring under 18 can be added to your membership at no extra cost. You set their access level — what they can see, who they can message, what groups they can join. All under your guardianship.
Create a private household group — end-to-end encrypted, visible only to members you choose. Share photos, coordinate schedules, communicate securely. Your household's digital home, not rented from a corporation.
Find other home educating households in your area through the community map. Join existing home ed groups or create your own. Share curriculum resources and coordinate group learning days.
Offspring accounts have age-appropriate access to courses, household messaging, and community content. As they grow, you adjust their access. At 18, their account converts automatically to full membership.
When your offspring turns 18, your vouch counts as their first community introduction. They do not start from scratch — they start as a man or woman already known and trusted by the community that watched them grow up.
Claire Henderson home educates three offspring and coordinates a network of over 40 households. Their community existed across Facebook, WhatsApp, and email — meaning everything from field trip photos to her offspring's daily routines was being processed by Meta's advertising algorithms.
Moving to ETC meant her offspring got their own accounts under her control. Her 7-year-old sees only household content. Her 14-year-old has progressively more access. All three accounts convert automatically to full membership at 18.
The collective built a curriculum library of 300+ resources, runs weekly group learning days, and exchanges sessions using LETS credits. A household strong in science and weak in languages swaps directly with a household whose strengths run the other way.
I teach my offspring to think carefully about who they give their information to. And then I was sharing their entire daily routine on Facebook. The hypocrisy had to stop.
Member features are included in both tiers. Builder features are highlighted — they come with the Founding Builder tier.

ETC is a Private Members Association — a community of real, vouched men and women organising together. The platform is the tool we use to do that. Your founding membership funds both: the community and the software that serves it. No outside investors. No advertisers. No data sold.
No commitment yet — just tell us you are interested. We will reach out when beta access opens for your area.

Your vouch is the most valuable thing you can give them.
ETC has 23+ modules live in beta — from secure messaging and a community economy to education, governance, podcasting, video, and a community health farm. Most features have basic functionality now, with advanced capabilities added as members request and vote for them.
