Trust is a separate axis — earned, never bought. Paying for a level gives you the tools and capacity; your trust level (earned through vouches and positive karma) decides when you may use them. Two governance features are trust-gated and free at any paid level.

During the founding phase you can take a one-off Founding membership instead: a numbered place, roughly half your contribution back in Unity Pounds, and a permanent Founder badge. We're aiming to close the founding phase in late 2026.
Founding memberships are never an investment — they carry no shares, no equity, and no financial return. They are a way to help build the community and hold a founding place within it. A 14-day cooling-off period applies to all membership payments.
